Piiker ("Piiker," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Piiker curbside pickup coordination platform and related services (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly:
When you create an account or use the Service, we collect:

- Restaurant name
- Restaurant physical address
- Restaurant phone number
- Online ordering URL
- Restaurant logo and branding materials (if provided)
- Payment information (processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. - we do not store credit card numbers)

1.2 Automatically Collected Information:
- QR Code Scan Data: When customers scan your restaurant's QR codes, we collect the date, time, and restaurant identifier (slug) associated with each scan
- Cookies: We use cookies solely for authentication purposes to maintain your logged-in session

1.3 Information From Third-Party Services:
During the AI-powered setup process, we collect publicly available business information about your restaurant from:
- Google Places API (business name, address, phone number, website, photos)
- This information is temporarily processed through OpenAI's services for logo identification and color extraction

1.4 Information We DO NOT Collect:
- We do not collect device information
- We do not collect IP addresses
- We do not track your browsing behavior outside of the Service

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

2.1 Service Provision:
- Create and manage your account
- Process payments and subscriptions
- Generate branded customer-facing pages and QR codes
- Facilitate curbside pickup coordination between you and your customers
- Provide customer support

2.2 Communications:
- Transactional Emails: Send essential service-related communications, including:
  * Account creation and welcome emails
  * Setup completion notifications
  * QR code delivery
  * Payment confirmations and receipts
  * Service updates or changes
- Marketing Emails: Send promotional communications, including:
  * Reactivation offers to cancelled subscribers
  * Feature updates and product announcements to demo users who saved their setup but did not subscribe

2.3 Service Improvement:
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
- Identify and fix technical issues
- Develop new features and functionality

- Track Service performance and user engagement through Facebook Pixel and Datafast analytics tools

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

3.1 Service Providers:
We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service:

- Stripe, Inc.: Payment processing (email, payment information)
- Resend: Email delivery service (email address, restaurant name)
- Google Places API: Restaurant information lookup during setup
- OpenAI: AI-powered logo identification and color extraction during setup (restaurant name, logo images)
- Facebook: Analytics via Facebook Pixel (anonymized usage data)
- Datafast: Analytics and performance tracking

These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to us and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes.

3.2 Legal Requirements:
We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to:
- Valid legal process (subpoena, court order)
- Government or regulatory requests
- Protection of our rights, property, or safety
- Prevention of fraud or illegal activity

3.3 Business Transfers:

4. DATA RETENTION

4.1 Active Accounts:
We retain your account information and restaurant data for as long as your account remains active.

4.2 Pickup Request Data:
Pickup request data (customer name, stall number, timestamp) is automatically deleted 30 minutes after a pickup order is marked as completed.

4.3 Demo Accounts:
Demo account information is deleted 30 days after creation unless converted to a paid subscription.

4.4 Cancelled Accounts:
After cancellation:
- We may retain your email address for reactivation marketing purposes
- We may retain certain data for legitimate business purposes (customer support, legal compliance, fraud prevention)
- You may request to opt out of marketing emails at any time (see Section 8)

4.5 Legal Retention:
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including tax, accounting, and legal compliance.

5. DATA SECURITY

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Payment information is processed by Stripe, Inc., which is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1 (the highest level of certification in the payments industry). We do not store credit card information on our servers.
